Olivier LANTZ, PhD

Olivier Lantz heads the clinical immunology laboratory and a research group at Institut Curie in Paris. He received his MD and Ph.D. from Orsay University in 1986 and 1990, respectively. He was associate professor at the Medical University of Paris South before joining Institut Curie in 2000. He co-authored over 180 scientific articles. Olivier is involved in translational immuno-oncology (immunomonitoring and immunotherapies). His basic research activity is focused on the biology of T cells. He discovered and characterized innate-like cells and showed their anti-microbial reactivity in humans and mice. He was recently awarded an ERC-advanced grant to study how some T cells display tissue repair or cytotoxic activities.
