Maria Souleau has more than 25 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry; she worked as Patent Attorney, Vice President Patents or BD Director Patents , in different pharmaceutical groups (SERVIER, SANOFI and its affiliates namely PASTEUR SANOFI Diagnostics SANOFI-SYNTHELABO and SANOFI-AVENTIS) until 2010. Since then, Maria has been a member of Angels Santé, 1st private investors’ healthcare network in Europe, and also Member of the Board of Directors of Angels Santé Creation (Investment Business Angels Company in healthcare innovations) and President of the Investment Committee thereof. Maria also is President of GNOSIS-MTS, advising biotech companies worldwide and specialized in Pharma and Biotech IP areas related to Business Development activities, licensing, M&A, collaborations, asset evaluation via due diligence  and the establishment of a successful “in house” patent strategy of the companies. Maria has been IP & Patent strategy and Collaboration adviser for Biomunex since inception. Maria is a European Patent Attorney, French Patent Attorney, Docteur ès Sciences Pharmaceutiques (PhD) and Doctor in Pharmacie. She was also Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry, at the University of Paris XI for 6 years. Maria is Member of International Intellectual Property Law Association (IPLA).
